Participating in the 6-month Climate Incubator Mentorship Program 2023 has been an enriching experience. As a mentor, connecting with local youth and exchanging ideas has been incredibly rewarding. It's not solely about career planning, but also about sharing life journeys, values, and inspiring each other through casual conversations over meals and coffee. This program has provided an opportunity to connect with younger individuals and engage in mutual learning. My mentee has also inspired me with innovative ideas, reminding me to continue making a difference for our planet. Besides, the Fika meetings, webinars, and workshops under the program have also expanded my network, connecting me with other mentors and like-minded individuals, and stimulating dynamic idea exchange

The Climate Incubator Mentorship Program has been a truly valuable experience for me. I was matched with a mentor from the green energy sector who generously shared his expertise and guidance. Through regular meetings, he helped me better understand the skills needed for different career paths and advised me on how to strengthen my professional development. I also learned so much from activities and talks organized by Climate Incubator. This program has expanded my network and confidence as I prepare to enter the green job market. I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend the program to anyone looking to build skills for the future of sustainability.

The Climate Incubator Mentorship Program not only helps developing a deeper understanding on green jobs but also promoting self-growth through different workshops. I have expanded my network with different environmental professionals and like-minded peers who share the same passion of building a climate-resilient future. This program also acts as a good medium to raise awareness of climate change and its risks for public education. I truly appreciate this opportunity to match with my mentor, Judy. We spent great time together and shared lots of useful information and inspirational thoughts. I even seek life guidance from Judy and it does help a confused fresh graduate like me to better orientate myself in society. We are both glad to keep our connection beyond this mentorship!

I joined the Climate Incubator as one of the mentors “by accident”… CI’s posts popped into my eyes one day when I was surfing about climate, sustainability and ESG-related topics.  I found CI is a great program as it’s not only benefiting the mentee but also myself as a mentor - which drives me, willingly, to keep learning and updating the latest development of various climate-relevant aspects, including its related job market, before I could provide useful sharing and discussions with my mentee. It is definitely a great bidirectional learning experience for both of us! Look forward to support in the coming cohorts.
